Argument & dialogue mapping to subvert hate speech
On the anniversary of the 7 July London terrorist bombings, I'm at the annual Colloquium on Violence & Religion for the first time, hosted by Amsterdam Vrije Universiteit. This is an intruiging mix of people studying and working in conflict zones all over the world, including academics, conflict resolution mediators, theologians, political and propaganda analysts, and philosophers. There have been some intense debates here, e.g. on the Middle East and 'war on terror', which have certainly conveyed the intensity of the different stakeholder views.
